After working with a para-church ministry for nearly two decades, Sharon pursued a life-long dream to make a mid-life career change and begin work as a marriage and family therapist. While working with students and staff struggling to make sense of heartache, faith and pain, she developed a heart to help others face difficulties with humility, faith and courage. Sharon considers it a sacred privilege to journey with individuals, couples and families.

Sharon grew up in the Midwest and attended Oklahoma State University. She earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University in 2011 and has been working in private practice. Believing all of us are designed to grow and live in community, Sharon has witnessed the transformation of lives and hearts through the intensive model.

Sharon approaches her work with a trauma-informed lens with an eye toward attachment. In addition to Restoration Therapy, Sharon is certified in EMDR, Discernment Counseling, and Attachment and Core Pattern Therapy. Married 40 years to her college sweetheart, Sharon treasures time with her husband and their three adult children.
