Jennifer Loggins, LPC, CPCS

Jennifer Loggins, LPC, CPCS has over 10 years of experience counseling individuals, couples, parents/families, children and adolescents through a wide variety of life challenges. Her specialties include supporting parents (especially parent who have children with special needs or mental health challenges), pregnancy/postpartum, infertility/pregnancy loss, life transitions, marriage and relationship issues, family dynamics, trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, building self-esteem, assertive communication and boundaries.
Jennifer holds a M.S. degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University and B.A. in Psychology from Oglethorpe University. She is licensed in the state of GA and is an active member of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia. Prior to working at the Wings Center, Jennifer served as the Children’s Program Coordinator and Counselor at Gateway Domestic Violence Center working with children and mothers healing from domestic violence and trauma. Jennifer has also worked with college students at Brenau University where she continues to serve part-time as an adjunct professor of psychology and clinical counseling.
Jennifer’s approach to counseling blends attachment theory, trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to challenge self-defeating thought patterns and psychodynamic therapy to discover the root of those thoughts to heal the inner child. Jennifer also takes a strengths-based approach, drawing from positive psychology and person-centered theory. Jennifer’s clients have reported that she creates a safe space to speak their truths and pain, balancing deep empathy, encouraging the full expression of feelings while challenging clients to uncover and change patterns of thoughts and behaviors that just aren’t working. Jennifer provides tools for growth and change as she works with clients on a weekly or biweekly short-term or long-term basis.
